About Me
Who am I and why am I a celebrant?
I have spent 17 years teaching a diverse range of people: from 6-67 years old! Over the years, I have mainly worked with children with special needs or adults having difficulties with reading & writing.
This passion involved a lot of hard work! I went back to high school at 23 & just kept going! Two teaching degrees, a second language english teaching qualification & a Post Graduate Diploma in Literacy were the outcomes of my labour!
Obviously these skills mean that I can help you to create a personalised, meaningful ceremony that provides you with lasting memories.
My passion for people together with an empathetic ear and good intuition make me an ideal choice as a celebrant.
I also have a great love for animals. Our family includes; 2 horses, 2 dogs, and 2 cats plus a puppy coming soon. Hence the inclusion of pet tributes as an occasion I would be happy to help you with.
I feel priviledged to be able to be a part of any of these significant transitions in people's lives. Therefore I strive to optimise the experience for anyone I work with...
And, when not working, you will find me; riding horses, mountain biking, walking dogs or socialising with others.

Welcome
Time for a celebration!
"Whether it be a celebration of love or a celebration of life, I can help"
I am a registered marriage & civil union celebrant who would love to help you get hitched.
Not only do we have a ceremony for the initiation of a union, we also have celebrations to mark a continued committment to one another through the renewal of our vows & I can also be involved in this.
Finally, there are transitions when we have to say farewell to loved ones. These loved ones include, not only people, but also animals & both these losses leave a deep emptiness in our hearts.
As a funeral celebrant I am honoured to be able to assist people through these difficult times.
"Life is a collection of memories & my aim is to make special ones really count so you can cherish them forever"
Although I live in Christchurch, I am happy to discuss other areas where you may want to have a ceremony.

I am also a member of the Celebrant's Association of New Zealand
